Coffey International Development in cooperation with the Nossal Institute for Global Health and GIZ International Services is managing the AusAID funded Australia Indonesia Partnership for Maternal and Neonatal Health Program which is an initiative to assist the Indonesian government to implement the National Making Pregnancy Safer Strategies and improving public administration in the health sector.
We are currently seeking applications for Operations Manager / Deputy Partnership Director for the Partnership based in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. The successful applicant will be responsible for the coordination and management of the administrative, procurement and financial aspects of the Partnership as well as human resource and general activity management. The Operations Manager will report directly to the Partnership Director and supervise the Partnership Support Unit and assist in oversight of the Provincial and District Coordinators.
You will have substantial experience in managing and / or leading operations specifically in the management of systems and procedures, as well as administrative and reporting arrangements to satisfy donor requirements. A solid knowledge and understanding of Government of Indonesia (GoI) systems and procedures; AusAID policies and cross cutting issues as well as proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesian is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a track record in working effectively with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds; excellent interpersonal communication and report writing skills; strong leadership and demonstrated experience managing a team; demonstrated ability to engage with and build relationships with government representatives as well as having graduate or postgraduate qualifications in business management or related field.
