NAV Business Analyst
Acting as a client-facing ambassador for the organization, you'll be heavily involved in the entire functional life cycle of implementation or change related projects. Working from business analysis stage, you'll work with the client to understand business need and to design solutions or workarounds to help them deliver financial services to the business.
The successful candidate will have the skills to cope with client facing transformation change projects. You will have a passion for client facing system issues and have the skills and experience to advise on implementation processes and procedures. You'll be key in understanding the chosen modules, the nature of the systems and practically applying your knowledge to meet exacting requirements.
Primary responsibilities for this position include the following: • Works with customers to optimize business processes by analysis, training, and consulting on the MS Dynamics NAV ERP system. • Develops curricula and organizes and delivers formal training on NAV functionality, including customizations and add-ons. • Provides assistance and routine consultation to users • Partners with help desk to improve level 1 support, including providing documentation and training for supporting routine issues and new functionality. • Maintains and administers security settings for NAV users; responsible for overall application security. • Participates in designing, coding, testing, debugging, code review, configuring, and documenting software. • Works within the framework of change management to ensure software quality. • Executes project management tasks and demonstrates leadership associated with small to medium sized development and implementation projects. • Works within the Pact software development and change management framework. • Other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of experience, knowledge, and skills: • Must have a minimum of 8 years professional work experience with 2-5 years of accounting experience • B.A. Degree in Accounting or related field • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with the NAV ERP system. • Ability to perform or assist with: o Account reconciliation o Financial Analysis - Quantitative/Analytical mastery o Financial statement preparation / audit preparation o Ability to develop and maintain accurate forecasts o Month end close • Must be able to manage and resolve ambiguity in requirements, assignments and tasks • Must be a self-starter capable of independent creative work, with demonstrated experience defining requirements and delivering applications to meet requirements. • Must be able to work independently as well as thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment. • Strong desire to bring best practices to the team, share your knowledge and expertise and enable your team members' mutual success as the organization continues to grow. • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
