Responsibilities: To manage the Cox’s programs and teams in line with the ACF country strategy and in collaboration with the HOM and coordination team :
- Context follow up
- Collect and analyze information
- Write monthly analytical reports of the context and transmit them to the Head of Mission and coordination team
- Review of the strategy / pilot the process of updating the strategy on a long term perspective.
- Responsible for adequate security management in the area:
- The logistician is in charge of the daily management of security. The PC is supervising the security management and is responsible to make sure security procedures are up dated, staff are briefed and respect procedures.
- Follow and analyze the security context of the area ;
- Validate the security plan or the changes made to it.
- Coordinate the implementation of programs and assessments
- To organize and chair coordination meetings at Cox’s level
- To ensure that coordination meeting at camp level take place and action plans are coordinated between technical departments.
- Check the advancement of programs through regular field visits ;
- Re-evaluate the pertinence of ACF actions and stimulate innovative and integrated approaches,
- Analysis of the budget follow-up in concordance with objectives and program achievements;
- Support the admin and log departments in the management of the overall financial and logistic processes in a timely manner: monitoring, reporting, prevision, expat finance plan
- Reporting and proposal writings
- Ensure adequate networking in Cox’s Bazaar and – when relevant – in Dhaka with other stakeholders :
- Partnerships: ensure the liaison with local partners
- Manage the overall Cox’s Bazaar Human Ressources
Qualification and previous experience: University/ Master Degree or equivalent, At least 5 years in humanitarian, development or post crisis context at coordination or management level. Experience in complex emergencies, natural disaster responses and humanitarian crises management. Demonstrated experience in piloting strategy, proposal and management of large international and national team. Respect and diplomacy, stress management, able to work in not necessarily women friendly environment. Analytical skills. Experience in Bangladesh or south Asia context preferred. English is compulsory
Statut : Employee - Long-term contract, provided by ACF according to the French legislation. - All expenses paid on the field: travel out/return, collective or individual accommodation depending on position, meals and hygiene expenses - ACF will pay for the family living depending on position and mission - Monthly salary ranging from €1650 to €2150 (depending on relevant experience) - Allowance of €200 paid on the mission - Social benefits: Medical, life and accident insurance provided by the institution - 25 days of annual paid leaves - 20 days of extra leaves per year (taken as recovery time breaks of one week every 2 or 4 months depending on the mission) + break allowances - Pre departure training of two weeks, at the HQ in Paris
