Salary will be based on the GS level for which you qualify.

This position is located in the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Research and Development in Ada, Oklahoma.

You will perform one or more of the following:

-  provide technical support to scientists engaged in carrying out environmental research, sampling, field studies or similar work involving the physical and biological sciences;

-  provide technical support to engineers engaged in carrying out engineering related work;

- perform a variety of clerical or administrative duties to assist professional and technical staff.


Qualifications and Evaluations

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

You do not need a degree to qualify for this position.

The following are the basic requirements for positions by grade.

GS-1:  No general or specialized education required.  No education degree required.

GS-2:  Three months general experience   OR  high school graduation or equivalent.

GS-3:  Six months general experience and  OR one year above high school.

GS-4:  Six months of fulltime experience  - OR two years of education above high school with courses related to this position.

GS-5:  Two years general experience  OR   one year of specialized experience  - OR 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in any academic discipline.

You must be a current student, enrolled at least half-time, and continuing your education this Fall or admitted to an educational institution for the Fall 2011.
