Globaljobscareer,
About Ashoka: Ashoka has pioneered the field of social entrepreneurship since 1980 by investing in more than 3,000 leading social entrepreneurs in over 70 countries; known as Ashoka Fellows, they are practical visionaries with systems-changing ideas. Rather than building one school or clinic in one community, Ashoka Fellows work at the systemic level by transforming the way children learn or by creating completely new healthcare delivery systems. Ashoka distills action principles that cut across the work of these social entrepreneurs and creates frameworks for collaborative entrepreneurship to more widely author global change. In addition, Ashoka fellows are role-models and active recruiters of other innovators, in part because they apply sector-tipping principles through collaborative architecture that attract innovators wherever they are. It is these key principles and behaviors that represent Ashoka’s core strategy for realizing its “Everyone a Changemaker”™ vision.
