, GTA.Position Description
Based in the Greater Toronto Area, this role is responsible for the regional implementation and execution of WVC national fundraising campaigns and other relevant activities at a grass roots level to position WVC as the charity of choice. The incumbent will be a spokesperson for World Vision Canada and will build strong relationships and provide execution support as required to key community influencers in schools, churches and beyond. Although some phone engagement activity will be necessary, a significant portion of the role will require face-to-face interactions with donors and supporters. The Relational Fundraising & Engagement Representative will directly report to the Team Leader and work closely with the Team Leader to ensure annual revenue and engagement goals are met.

Key Job Functions
• Meet and exceed quantitative fundraising goals • Effectively managing key relationships following the consultative sales model from lead generation to close • Strengthen existing accounts and increase their fundraising potential • Deliver presentations on specific campaign and international development issues • Maintain high level of knowledge of campaigns and the work of WVC • Host and/or attend seminars/conferences to develop new opportunities • Act as a point of customer service for key accounts • Weekly reports and update activity info through a Contact Management system
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Excellent oral / written communication and presentation skills, with an outgoing/engaging style • Drive and proven capacity to exceed goals and targets • Strong interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to influence others • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple responsibilities • Detail oriented to ensure tasks are accurately completed, with an ability to carry out a range of administrative tasks • Self-motivated and ability to excel with minimum supervision • Excellent PC skills with proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Minimum Requirements
• 2+ years of professional experience in relational fundraising, sales, marketing, business or related field • The ideal candidate resides in the Greater Toronto Area • Ability to work some weekends and evenings • Must have the ability to work full time from a home office • Access to a vehicle and the ability to travel within your region is required • Compassionate heart for those we serve, and a desire to make an impact on those in need • Experience in international development or Christian ministry environments an asset
