Training Coordinator, London Contract Length: 15 months Salary: £30,917 per annum With regular travel – up to 3 months per annum

The Training Coordinator will support improved humanitarian policy and practice for older people by developing and delivering a training strategy for HelpAge to promote learning and influencing outside the organisation. The post holder will also develop a comprehensive training strategy for HelpAge and lead and facilitate a minimum of 4 field based humanitarian trainings, working with a minimum of 200 trainees in total, in conjunction with field based staff. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience as a trainer in a humanitarian context including knowledge on training strategy and training cycle management such as evaluation systems. Knowledge of vulnerability and capacity analysis within the humanitarian sector and age related vulnerabilities is also essential for this role. An additional language skill in French, Spanish, Arabic or other is highly desirable. Closing date: 28 August 2011
