About the role
The role of the Senior Advisor – Education & Disaster Risk Reduction is to build, support and oversee a strategy for Save the Children to go to scale with Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) initiatives in the education sector. This position will work with key stakeholders within Save the Children, International NGOs, donors and the UN to ensure the development and delivery of a high quality programs, accountability mechanism and impact measurement systems. Through this role Save the Children aim go to scale with partners in education risk reduction activities to measurably reduce vulnerabilities faced by children. By doing this we hope to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children. Save the Children are willing to sponsor Australian visa applications for suitable international applicants.
