At Oxfam, we’re committed to ending inequality. That’s why across CAMEXCA, we’re fighting for power so that people in need can grow enough food to keep themselves alive. Spearhead our Food Justice Campaign right across the globe and you’ll make sure they do – now and in the future.
The role This is all about engaging with people passionate about taking action. And in this brand new role, you’ll design and develop a strategy that encourages activism and support for our Food Justice Campaign, regionally, nationally and globally. It means harnessing the power of public facing communication. And using every outlet, from online video and social networking, to blogs and search engines, you’ll maximise the visibility of the campaign. What’s more, negotiating representation from celebrities and public opinion leaders, you’ll invigorate the interest of established supporters and capture the imagination of new ones. It’s a chance to make a real difference at the heart of a highly respected network.
What we’re looking for Coming from a background in grassroots activism, you’ll have plenty of experience in the successful delivery of large-scale, public facing campaigns. And your strong communication skills mean you’ll have no problem engaging with new people and getting them on board. We’re after someone with a broad knowledge of the latest technology. Someone who understands the best ways of connecting with people across the world. Build strong relationships at all levels, and you’ll not only create a lasting alliance in the region, you’ll help shape a better future.
