Group TSG Clearance Level Needed Secret Category Category Security Job Duties and Responsibilities What will this Position Offer You? You will: Administration: Coordinate and monitor sensitive aspects of the DoD or other industrial security program ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
Protect classified government information and publish security awareness for all cleared personnel.
Develop and implement security procedures in coordination with government agencies and management personnel. Furnish security advice and guidance to off-site company security and subcontractor security staff to ensure compliance with prescribed regulations and procedures, specifically DD Form 254 Classified Security Contract Specification and mandated government directives, statutes, and the National Industrial Security Program as mandated by Defense Security Service.
Monitor and conduct security briefings and security education programs.
Investigate and oversee the investigation of losses and security violations and recommend corrective action.
Maintain liaison with outside agencies and keep upper management informed of all security activities.
Develop procedures and coordinate procedure manual revisions.Security Supervisor:
Provide the supervision and administration of the security staff, inspections, audits, and investigations.
Review, track, and monitor all physical security policies and procedures.
Ensure that all security staff are trained and adhere to the policies outlined by corporate and customer security requirements. Personnel Security - Collateral
Process personnel security background investigations via Electronic Questionnaire for Investigations Processing (eQIP) through the DoD database Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) information to Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO) for determination of security clearance eligibility.
Review personal documents, Personnel Security Questionnaires (Standard Form 86) and other records to ensure they are accurate, complete, and in compliance with Government Activity guidelines.
Contact candidates to obtain additional information, as needed.
Enter appropriate data into Government Activity access database and ManTech International's Security Information Management System (SIMS).
Assign, coordinate, organize and facilitate follow-up from individuals interviewed during the background investigation, and by assisting callers with questions or complaints about the investigation or the unprofessional behavior of an investigator or an employee.
Review and evaluate investigator reports to ensure they are accurate, complete, and timely. Personnel Security - Special Compartmented Information
Responsible for completing personnel security and administrative security tasks. Tasks may include assisting with program security management and physical security issues.
Responsible for identifying SCI access requirements and submitting SCI justification and nomination through appropriate channels and culminating with assuring attestations and read-ins are timely organized and data entered into SIMS, JPAS, and ACAVS (Army Certification and Verification System).
Establish and maintain personnel security files for all supported personnel.
Assist in monitoring and updating all security databases for tracking personnel security clearances and accesses.
Access - Visitor Authorization Letter:
Prepare, send, and receive visitor certifications via COR signature and/or through Visit Access in JPAS utilizing SMO and CAGE identifiers.
Assure that the visitor has appropriate accesses and eligibility prior to submission and confirm receipt and submission of VAR through host facility security office.
Maintain visitor authorization letters and termination VARs for over 1, 000 ManTech personnel and approximately 200 subcontractor personnel and provide annual Master VAR to COR.
Amend and resubmit when a formerly submitted employee/subcontractor employee receives any amendment to eligibility such as Denied, Loss of Jurisdiction, Upgrade, Downgrade, Debrief.
Assure all NISPOM mandated assurances are in place such as proof of citizenship as referenced by original or certified copy Birth Certificate, US Passport expired or unexpired, or other acceptable government issued original documents.Access - Meetings, Conferences, Exercises and/or Contingencies:
Coordinate briefing materials, briefing assurance certificates for access and prepare appropriate paperwork which includes temporary access and permanent access as organized through host, and off-site security personnel and leads.Access - Courier:
Assure that company employees are appropriately cleared to the level of the material they shall carry and assure that they understand the responsibility of Courier.
Maintain courier database and seek the support of OCONUS and/or other out-of-area courier orders of classified CRYPTO/COMSEC through COMSEC Security Manager and government security officer.Investigations:
Investigate reports of infractions or violations (including written reports) and communicates findings to upper management and government host.
Identify causes to include intentional or unintentional negligence, inadequate security controls in-place, or inadequate security education in-place.Position Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree with ten years experience designing, managing, and implementing security controls
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have a driver's license with an insurable driving record
Must be highly motivated and work with minimal supervision
Knowledge of government manuals to ensure compliance
Knowledge and experience in Government and Industrial security systems
Have typing skills and computer skills with functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Security Requirements: Active Secret and be able to obtain Top Secret *Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibilty requirements for access to.*classified information. Qualifications Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent and five to seven years of related experience. Ability to obtain a security clearance.
