Reviews and assess the efficiency, effectiveness, and impact of programs to determine if MCC goals are being met, and makes recommendations for improvements. Conducts audits and evaluations in support of OIG audit objectives. Gathers information, conducts interviews and exit and entrance conferences, prepares work papers, analyzes data, writes audit findings and recommendations, and prepares draft audit reports and audit proposals. Provides day-to-day supervision and direction to the audit team and provides input for subordinates' annual performance evaluations. Briefs supervisor on progress of audits and evaluations and identifies problems such as the need to expand scope and commit additional resources. Determines the need for and collects data across functions to facilitate overall operational assessments required for planning. Reviews and assesses efficiency of information resource management programs to determine if MCC's goals are being met, and makes recommendations for improvements. Analyzes and evaluates if audit recommendations have been successfully implemented, recommends changes and modifications and prepares summaries of analyses for the Congress. Serves as agency expert in formulating policies and guidelines for productivity programs, plans, procedures, and methods.

MINIMUM FEDERAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 09: Qualifying experience for the GS-9 level includes one year of specialized experience at least equivalent to the GS-7 level which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: The experience requirement for the GS-9 level may be met by two (2) full academic years of graduate level education or completion of all requirements for a master's or equivalent graduate degree, or completion of all requirements for an LL.B or J.D. degree.
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet the experience requirements.
