EPCI Project Consultant

Key Objectives:
• Provision of contracts formation and administration support for projects including, Jackets, Topside Decks, FPSO, Flare Towers, Wellhead Towers, Subsea Pipelines, Facility Load-out, Transportation & Installation Contracts


ii) Project budget administration management
iii) Contract administration, document control, data and file management for major oil and gas projects
• Management of design on behalf of company under the direction of the Project Manager
• Review of design and constructability with regard to fabrication yard practices.
• Review / Approve Design Contractor documentation
• Assist Project Manager with key liaison between Company and Designer, Fabricator and Certification Authority
• Ensure that Company requirements are maintained within The Contract under direction of the Project Manager.
• Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager pursuant to the design and construction of the facility.

HSE Accountabilities
• Ensure that Contract EHS and technical standard are met by the organisation, contractors, vendors, suppliers and third parties who support the project.
Leadership Accountabilities
Contractor Management:
• Manage the contractor to successfully deliver the project to practical completion.
• Act as the Company representative under EPC contracts and manage the technical and commercial disputes with the EPC contractor.
Project Control:
• Ensure that project governance structure and standards are established in accordance with the EPC contract and technical and risk assurance plans are in place for all phases of the project.
• Ensure that EPC contractor has in place an active project Significant Hazard Risk Register (SHRR).
• Ensure systems are in place for cost and schedule control forecasting.
• Provide monthly and weekly structured reports.
Project Execution
• Execute the work in accordance with the contract to deliver the project.
• Liaise with key stakeholder managers, both upstream and downstream in relation to activities that may affect project delivery through direct interaction and/or within defined forums and committees.
Permits and other Government, EIS and Regulatory Requirements
• Accountable for the provision of permits and other regulatory requirements to enable project execution.
Quality Assurance
• Establish technical assurance plan and inspection test plan that assures contract compliance and verifies Facilities completion.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, systems and processes as defined by the Controls, Assurance requirements.
• Set and communicate the direction, vision and role accountabilities to ensure the organisation is aligned to the vision.
• Drive teams to achieve results.
• Provide performance feedback, coaching, and mentoring and ensure team development to optimize performance and commitment of leaders and employees.
• Preferable to hold Bachelor of Engineering, Civil and or Mechanical, or similar internationally recognized qualification

Qualification & Experience Requirements
ü At least ten years experience in engineering work for oil and gas industry, Jacket and Topside, FPSO fabrication
ü At least 5 years experience in Project Management such as CSR, Superintendent, Manager role in oil and gas industry.
ü Good communication skills at all levels with fluent written and spoken English.
ü Ability to work as a part of a multi-nation, multicultural team and to establish excellent working relationships with all parties
ü High degree of problem solving ability
ü Able to work unsupervised within a designated framework.
ü Able to handle complex issues involving multiple disciplines and priorities.
ü Autonomous decision making authority within designated framework
ü Responsibility level to reflect authority
ü Extensive experience in construction management
ü Prior overseas work experience in multicultural, multi ethnic environment
ü Practical background
ü Computer literate

Working time
ü 8hrs/day - 5days/week
