Save the Children is looking for an enthusiastic health professional with good international humanitarian health experience and able to work in both French and English, to fill the role of Health Advisor Emergency Response Personnel (ERP). The Health Advisor ERP role is responsible for assessing and responding to health emergencies at a global scale. The post holder will need to have proven experience of emergency assessments and responses, living and working in insecure environments as well as skills in writing donor proposals, strategies and reports. Save the Children's humanitarian health programmes aim to reduce excess morbidity and mortality in humanitarian crises through primary health care (especially maternal, newborn and child health), community health, outbreak preparedness and response, mass public health interventions and DRR activities. Save the Children will respond as directly as necessary, working closely with and strengthening government systems and communities to leave behind expanded and more resilient health systems after the emergency.
