(See Code: 31364 - Truck Driver, Tractor-Trailer). Operate all Wheeled, Tracked, Generator and Material Handling Equipment. Dispatch equipment to and from Direct Support Maintenance Facilities, exercise equipment enrolled in low usage program, operate equipment in support of warehouse operations, and supply operations dealing with equipment transfers, retrograded supplies and equipment, relocation of vehicles to and from motor pool sites. Oversee and check proper loading and unloading of cargo on vehicles and trailers. Secure cargo against inclement weather, pilferage, and damage. Operate vehicle component material handling equipment (MHE), as required. Report all vehicle deficiencies to supporting maintenance facilities.  The Equipment Operator & Storage Specialist (EOSS), as part of ManTech's Integrated Logistics Support & Services (ILSS) contract, will operate all tractor & trailers, heavy equipment and vehicles over varied terrain and roadways in support of the Left Behind Equipment (LBE) and/or Pre-Deployment Training Equipment (PDTE) program. This will include but is not limited to: check proper loading and unloading of cargo on vehicles and trailers, secures cargo (including Basic Items Issued/Components of End Item, if present) against inclement weather, pilferage and damage, operate vehicle component material handling equipment (MHE) (as required), perform vehicle self-recovery and field expedients to include towing vehicles, conduct Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) (as required), report all vehicle deficiencies, and prepare vehicles for movement/shipment by air, rail, or vessel.
